Sustainable Sites Credits (26 possible points)

The way our communities are built has a great impact on our ecosystems.  By developing smarter we can lessen the impact on our environment while preserving our natural habitat.

Sustainable site credits deal with the impact of development on the use of land and how it can be mitigated by planning effective transportation strategies, preserving green space, controlling stormwater, and reducing heat island effect.

By implementing innovative technologies and strategies into the design of the building, the beauty of natural landscapes can be incorporated into our communities, emission of CO2 can be reduced, waterways can be protected from pollution, and the overall health of our communities would be enhanced.
